What is this event?
A free event put on by ReDefined Prosthetics, 501c3, for Amputees to push their physical and mental limits by climbing a 14,000 ft peak
Who Can Attend
Here are 3 categories of attendees for this event:
-6 amputees ages 13+ that will be our main climbers
-Volunteers for cooking, hiking, hosting.
-EMT’s who want to hike a 14'er

Quick Info
The purpose of this event is to give 6 amputees the oppurtunity to push their boundaries and climb a 14,000 ft mountain. Along with the 6 main hikers, volunteers are needed for support before, during, and after the hike. Volunteers may or may not particpate in the actual hike but will play a vital role in facilitating the week and encouraging the hikers.
Is this event safe?
Climbing has inherit dangers. A 1:1 amputee hiker to EMT ratio will be strictly adhered to along with other experienced climbers/guides to help facilitate any needs that arise during the hike
